Bogdan has over 20 years’ experience in intelligence, compliance, audit & investigations and now serves as a strategy consultant on crypto-assets for the National Bank of Romania.
An Accredited Counter Fraud Specialist, Accredited Counter Fraud Manager, Certified DLT & Blockchain Manager, Certified Crypto-Assets Investigator & Compliance Specialist, Certified OSINT Practitioner, Bogdan has a wealth of experience as an investigator and compliance specialist, particularly in blockchain transactions, holds ICA Diplomas in Anti Money Laundering and Financial Crime Prevention, and is concurrently a PhD candidate with the University of Portsmouth, where he is researching crypto assets and the need for holistic analysis to minimize the financial stability and national security risks the nascent technology poses.
Encompassing his view, BIPA's mission is to facilitate the connection of the "blockchain intelligence" dots, whether it's expertise, research, projects and essentially, public sector and private sector organizations. The dots exist and have excellent results, their connection is now a priority for all experts in the blockchain intelligence space.
